HUSBAND NOTES: BIOGRAPHY: John Jones graduated from Queens College, Cambridge, A.B. 1612, A.M. 1616. Reverend John Jones was ordained Deacon at Peterborough in 1613. He was a rector at Abbots' Ripton, Huntingtonshire from 1619 to 1630. He came to New England in 1635 and settled in Concord from 1635 to 1644. He moved to Fairfield, Connecticut in 1644 and was the first minister of the First Congregational Church in that town. He died in Fairfield in 1664.
