WIFE NOTES: - NOTE: See biography for Henry Jernigan. BIOGRAPHY: Henry JERNIGAN died in 1763 and his wife Ann survived him and moved to Burke County, Georgia in 1766. She had grants of land there in 1768 and 1775 and made gift to her grandson in 1776. She gave one Negro slave each to her grandchildren Henry Sauders JERNIGAN and Needham JERNIGAN , and she gave Hardy JERNIGAN and James JERNIGAN all of her household furniture and goods, pewter pots, 3 feather beds, and 30 head of hog. !PARENTS-SPOUSE-CHILDREN: Boddie, John Bennett.
