HUSBAND NOTES: BIOGRAPHY: Robert Dawney was baptised in Natland in the Parrish of Kendal on 16 Jun 1571. He died 24 May 1644 and was buried in Manchester, England. He was believed to have moved to Manchester in 1596. He married Elizabeth Barlow at the Collegiate Church of Manchester on 10 Apr 1597. He was a tanner and lived at Ye Milne Georgiate (the Mill Street). Elizabeth Barlow died in 1625 and he married Ellen ? who died 21 Apr 1635. No will was found of his to be probated. He had 11 children all by Elizabeth. He was the son of Edward Dawney and Agnes.
