HUSBAND NOTES: Roger Sumner of Bicester County, Oxford, England died 3 Dec 1608. He married Joan Franklin 2 Nov 1601, she later married Mark Brian of Merton County, Oxford, England on 10 Jan 1611. The only son of Roger and Joan was William Sumner born 1605 at Bicester County, Oxford, England. William Sumner died 9 Dec 1688 (Colonial Families of the United States of America, Volume III, page 550-551).
