HUSBAND NOTES: Daniel Blanton born 13 Jun 1817 in Georgia. He is the son of David Blanton. He married Harriet Blount b. 1819. Harriet was the daughter of Dempsey Blount. Daniel and Harriet had the following children: Elizabeth b. 1841, Dora Ann b. 1843, William R. b. 1845 married Priscilla Ray, Harriet M. b. 1846, Moses b. 1848, Daniel C. b. 1850 married Rachel Ray, Missouri b. 1852, Emily J. b. 1855, John Franklin b. 185? married Ellen Harn, Nancy C. b. 185?, Margaret. Daniel Blanton was baptized on 10 Jun 1843 into Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Harriet was received by letter from Columbia Church on 10 Dec 1841. Daniel is shown on the Church roll as expelled. Daniel died about 1889 in Thomas County.
