For further research: There was a Allen W. Brown, born in Virginia about 1796 and died 4 Dec 1869 in Walton County, Georgia. He married Martha Gresham on 19 Jan 1820 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. Martha was born about 1802 in Oglethorpe County and died 20 Nov 1853 in Walton County, Georgia. Is this Allen related to William Brown? They had a son named Benjamin Blanton Brown.
