HUSBAND NOTES: Edward Griswold came to Windsor Connecticut in 1639 and then moved to Killingworth, Connecticut in 1664. He was the most prominent man of this colony and was elected first delegate to the General Court, also Justice of the Peace in Windsor, and first Deacon of the Church. He was deputy from Windsor from 1658 to 1662. He was Deputy for Killingworth in 1678 and nominated for assistant and Commissioner from 1678 to 1689.
