HUSBAND NOTES: Jacob Giddens came to Georgia with his mother in 1835. The homeplace was two miles east of Avera's Mill, lot 148, 10th District, Berrien County, Georgia which was later known as the Powell home-place. It is possible Jacob Giddens married a third time to Lucinda Cannington on 6 Feb 1873, but this is not verified.
