They settled near son Isbin Giddens. Beaufort County, North Carolina deed records show she sold her home on 12 Oct 1835 which was 261 acres on the south side of Pamilico River and west side of Blounts Creek. Some 141 acres of this may have been left to her by son Moses, Jr. who willed it to her. Catherine was left 200 acres of land in her father's will on the west side of Blounts Creek which she and Moses sold on 8 May 1804 to her brother Walter. She was received into Union Church by letter on 13 Feb 1836.
