HUSBAND NOTES: Henry moved to New Hanover County, North Carolina and served 3 years in Carolina Continental Line for which he was paid by the state of North Carolina and granted bounty land there. He moved to Wilkes County, Georgia after the war and got 200 acres of land and in 1787 bought 92 more acres on the Ogeechee River in Wilkes County from Benjamin Few. He moved to Bulloch County, Georgia where he lived till his death (Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia). The will of Henry Parrish is dated 23 Jun 1800, probated on 30 Jun 1800 and recorded in Bulloch County, Georgia, Book B of Wills 1816-1836 pages 1-2 list on June 28, 1800 recorded Dec. 6, "1940" the Last Will and Testament of Henry Parrish, planter. Executors were wife Mary Ann, John Daughtrey and Jacob Mincy. The will gave his estate to his wife for her lifetime, then to be divided between his ten children. The children named are: Josiah, Jerusha, Hezekiah, Ezekiel, Henry, Joel, Ansel, Absolom, Mary, Morning. Mrs. Florie Parrish Hendry of Adel Georgia was the first descendant in 1949 to become a member of the DAR on the record of Henry Parrish.
