HUSBAND NOTES:
B.M. Thompson attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia from 1844 to 1845 and graduated from the Atlanta Medical College in 1856. He practiced medicine for 50 years. He owned about 1900 acres of land near Five Forks and a mill on South River. He was the owner of a mill built by his grandfather in 1790, it being the first mill erected in Madison County.
